A seasonal production created for the Northern California Renaissance Faire in Gilroy, CA. Arcana featured live music and dance from the Middle Eastern, North African and Turkish regions, as part of the 30+ year lineage of this style of dance presented at this event. Directed by Danielle Elizabeth, Paul Evans, Zoe Jakes, Gregory Jenkins & Shanti Bardot. The show ran for 6 seasons, for 5-6 weekends, every September-October, performing 4-5 sets per day!

Tidal ~ 2016

May 13th, 2016 @ Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center (IFCC)
Doors open 7pm  ~  5340 N. Interstate Ave. Portland, OR

Tidal, conceived and directed by Portland Area dancer-musician-producer Danielle Elizabeth, is a full evening of new works based in contemporary dance theater style with all original live music. The show will feature 5 local, yet internationally known, dancers performing solos as well as group pieces stemming from collaborative choreography and improvisations. Musical concepts are being crafted by the dancers themselves, with original composition & direction by Paul Evans. The music will be performed by the dancers in conjunction with a professional trio of some of Portland’s finest multi-instrumentalists.
